We've been trying to refinance our house for about 6 months now, and it seems that it's FINALLY going to go through. We've signed papers on Friday, and as long as nothing happens by Wednesday at midnight, the deal is done. Phew. At least it pays off some bills, and gets money to Jeff's mom that we borrowed FOREVER ago to pay for appliances and getting the house, etc. So glad it's done. Now we just have to finish the house.
Nasty thing that happened last Saturday though. We had some movers come to take out the old Fridge/Freezers in the basement. Well, one of them hadn't been opened in over 20 years. It was locked. But they wouldn't take it until it was emptied, so they crowbared it open and it was a big, red, wet mess. It was all liquid, and probably had been meat and other items decades ago, but now it's just, amonia, Jeff said. Gross. He got some on him, on the floor, but most in a garbage container, and they finally moved it all out. So good news is, it's out of the basement! Yay! We've been waiting for that for a while. Now we can get stuff out of storage, stop paying for it, and put it in OUR basement where it belongs! Just gotta kill a few thousand spiders . . . .

EEEWWWWWW! But glad it's out of there. I can't even imagine. I hope this means you'll get to officially move in soon. That would be a great day for ya! Ciao!
Yeah for the refi! Boo for not telling me that part. HAHA! Let us know if you need help moving stuff from the storage unit!
That's about the most disgusting thing I've ever heard!
Oh yes, I forgot to mention.. Beware of the creepy crawlies, because they "born 'em" and they go up your body and eat your eye!
